advc-300 et NTSC

Bonjour,

Matos:
1 magnéto. PAL - NTSC Sony SLV-SE740
1 Canopus ADVC-300
1 Mac OSX biprocesseur G5 2,7GHz avec Final Cut Pro 5

Mon problème est le suivant.
L'acquisition de la VHS NTSC sous FCP n'est pas en couleur.

La VHS est en SP, le Canopus en NTSC.
Si je branche directement le magnéto sur une tv j'ai de la couleur.
Pour les VHS PAL aucun problème.

Est-ce une combinaison de switch sur le canopus qui m'échappe ?

J'ai également essayé sur un Pc de faire l'acquisition mais c'est le même problème.


Quelqu'un peut-il me suggérer quelque chose?

 

Voici la réponse de Canopus à mon problème. Il pourrait s'agir d'un problème de compatibilité du magnéto. :(

Dear Customer,

Check the dip switches on the bottom of the ADVC. They will need to make sure of the following for PAL and NTSC:
If using PAL IRE = 0
If using NTSC IRE = 7.5
If selected the wrong way round the picture will be black and white.
Also check if you are using S-Video as they will need to make sure the device they are using is S-Video compatible or you will get black and white. Instead use the Composite and this should then be colour.

If you trying to capture an NTSC tape from a PAL VCR, which has NTSC playback. Our converters cannot support this, as the output signal is actually PAL 60, this is a mix between NTSC and PAL. This is compatible with TV’s but is not a pure NTSC file. They will need to purchase an Native NTSC VCR for this to work and have your editing system set to NTSC.

NOTE:
PAL-60 – This is video signal running at 60 frames per sec, but with PAL colour information. (PAL runs at 50fps) Image Quality is not affected for NTSC. All or most TV’s will support the playback of this file.
