Our company is planning to come to your town for a series of documentaries we are shooting around the world. Only our director will be coming and we will be using local video services like yours for video shooting. Shooting will take place ONE DAY.

We will need the following (please forgive some mistakes in translation):

1 Cameraman with Sony Z1 HDv (or compatibile but please note it will be used in PAL mode, HDv 1080/50i)
1 Soundman with stick, microphone + radio microphone (signal will go in camera, on tape)
1 Still Photographer with digital Camera (minimum 12 Mpixels)

1 car/van (with extra seat for the director)

1 Tripod for videocamera
Light kit (both cold/neon kinoflo type and incandescence type)
Light colour filters (transparent papers)
1 Lastolite type white reflection
Tapes
1 adatpter for transferring photos to portable Mac computer

Our director will reside in an hotel near the shooting location (exact location will be given upon final agreement with your company, should be within 1hour from center of your town). You will meet him the day before in the afternoon for a drink to arrange details of shooting. The next day you will stop at his hotel and together you will reach the shooting site. Shooting, after few establishing shots, will involve shooting inside a building and interviewing one person at work in a lab. At the end of the day you will pass the photographs on our director’s Mac and give him the tapes. Then you’ll take him back to the hotel.

We can pay in advance through bank order and pay the tapes in cash but also if you accept credit cards is appreciated.

We are contacting 4-5 companies for each town and we will choose only one for each city, but we will write back even to not-choosen partners. If you have any question please don’t hesitate to write to me (also in the weekend). As you might understand for us timing is quite essential. Please don't offer different solutions for camera... We are trying to standardize the footage of the whole job.
