PB avec Miro Capture : "la restitution n'a pas pu être démarrée"

Raaaah !!!

Suite à mon post sur le plantage de la DC30 j'ai installé le pilote 1.42 et voilà que MiroVIDEO Capture ne peut plus lire mes capture !

Le message d'erreur est "la restitution n'a pas pu être démarrée".

Je suis revenu au pilote 1.41 mais rien n'y fait, help !!!

PS: si ça peut donner des idées, j'utilisais la lecture via MVCapture pour envoyer du NTSC au DVDXpress d'ADSTech (sur un autre PC).
Je capture en NTSC 4.43 puis je lance une lecture avec prévisualisation vidéo en ayant connecté les sorties du bluebox aux entrées du DVDXpress.
A ce moment, la sortie peut se faire en NTSC "pur", qui est le seul type de NTSC que le DVDXpress "capte" correctement.

 

You never write which operatingsystem are you using!?

Driver 1.42 is the latest official from Pinnacle and will work in Win95/98/ME and 2000 without problems.
If you install driver 1.42 a older version should be complete deinstalled!

Yup, sorry Maik, I use Windows 98 - though I don't think it is OS dependent.

To resume my problem, now that I have updated to driver 1.42, miro capture can't play my captures (when updating the driver, I answered "yes" when the installer proposed to remove the previous driver).

A warning says (roughly translated to english): "the playback could not start" when I switch to the movie tab (I mean, the last tab).

I was searching though Pinnacle's knowledge base but couldn't find a clue...

Miro Capture has a special interest for me as I want to use the blue box outputs.

If you have problems with playback, often the error comes if you don't have installed Premiere.
If you don't have Premiere make the following:
Create a directory c:\Programfiles\Adobe\Premiere5
Install driver 1.42 again and select also the Premiere-Files.
Select the new directory for install.

Reboot.
Use miro capture again, now it should work.

Bluebox has nothing to do with miro capture!
In Win98 you can use every VfW-Application and the bluebox will be used. -> good software is Virtual Dub in Win98/ME.

I reinstalled Premiere (I removed it a while but it didn't affect playback in Mirocapture) + related plugins and it solved the problem.
