Encore DVD 2.0 et Vista

Encore DVD 2.0 won't start (Windows Vista)
Issue
When you double-click the Adobe Encore DVD program icon or a project file, nothing happens.

Detail
The Encore process appears in Task Manager for a brief time and then ends. No splash screen or error message displays.

Solution: Run Encore as an Administrator.
1. Navigate to the Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 folder.
2. Right-click the Adobe Encore DVD.exe file and choose Properties.
3. On the Compatibility tab, select Run This Program As an Administrator in the Privilege Level section.
4. Click OK.

Background Information
When Encore is opened, it writes to protected directories. Windows Vista security settings for these folders are more rigidly enforced than in Windows XP, requiring you to run Encore as an administrator. Encore is the only application in the Production Studio suite with this requirement.


Il semble que Encore DVD 2.0 puisse fonctionner (avec des bugs ??) en démarrant la session comme "Administrateur" et en faisant la manip suivante:
1- Aller dans le répertoire "Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 " où est installé Encore 2.0
2- Clic droit sur le fichier "Adobe Encore DVD.exe" et sélectionner "Propriétés"
3- Dans l'onglet "compatibilité" sélectionner "lancer ce programme en tant qu'adiministrateur " dans la section "Niveau de privilège"

If you can successfully install Encore DVD 2.0 and have verified that the program files are in the correct location, the Library content may still be missing. You can confirm this by navigating to Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 and checking to see if there is a Library folder. If there is no Library folder, the Library content is not installed.

Unfortunately, Windows Vista does not recognize that the functional content (library) installer is valid. There is currently no solution to this issue, although it may be addressed in a future Microsoft update for Vista.

Note: If you have access to Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 installed on Windows XP you can copy the Library files to your Vista machine. On the Windows XP machine, navigate to Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore DVD 2.0\Library and then copy the folder category folders to a dual-layer DVD, two single-layer DVDs, or large-capacity flash drive (you will need approximately 7.5 GB of free space). You can then transfer the files to the Vista machine, making sure they are in the same Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore DVD 2.0\Library folder.

Ce qui signifie que les bibliothèques ne peuvent pas être insytallées et qu'il faauut aller les copier dans une installation sous Win XP pour les recopier dans cette nouvelle installation.
Il s'agit du dossier Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 / Bibliothèque.

mais stoujours faire fonctionner sous "Administrateur"
