I have bought a Sony DCR-VX2000E and I had a DV500 .

I use the I-link cable between my camcorder and my DV500. If I run DVtools to control the camcorder, a error window appears : Impossible to control your camcorder. Please, verify your connection.

If you know somebody who has the same problem and had resolve it, send me a little mail.

The problem might be that your camcorder is "too" new, to be recognized by the DV500 drivers you have.
Have you tryed to download the Beta version 1.2a to see if it works?

Merci pour ta reponse.

En fait, j'ai bien installe le logiciel DV500 v1.2 avec l'upgrade 1.2a beta. Mais ca n'y change rien

Meme avec Premiere, je n'arrive pas a voir d'images lorsque j'utilise "l'acquisition video".

Il s'agit peut-etre d'une mauvaise configuration de mon logiciel (sachant que l'outil DVexpert semble dire que tout est correct cote connexions).

Pour info ..je n'ai aucun probleme VX2000 avec DV500
