I have been trying for 3 weeks to get a 15minute project rendered with no results.
Having installed W2K, Premiere6 & Latest 1.7 Drivers.
To cut it short. When you use freefx transition in you time line, your memory gets chewed up to the point were you run out and Win2k enlarges virtual memory and that's when you start having.
"run time error"
"virtual Memory errors"
And of coarse at this point your computer spits the dummy and locks up or premiere closes it's self and functioning of tasks in w2k becomes very slow.
If you guy's are planning to use the same setup as I have remember the safest way in to custom install pinnacle drivers and unchecking freefx.
