Got a dc30+ an ASUS P2B motherboard and a ALCATEL USB modem. I work under Win98SE.

I found that my miro was working unproperly with all that stuff plugged. For instance, i could not capture anymore, unless i set the image size to the minimum (example : 336*276).
It took me time before i understand that I only have to unplug my USB modem in order to get my miro to work correctly, like before.

I changed the modem and the motherboard drivers but the problem remains the same. So I wonder where the problem is coming from :

1/ Is it a matter of drivers ? (this would mean a software problem).

2/ is it due to a question of compatibiliy between THAT usb modem and the miro.

3/ could it be a problem of USB management by my ASUS P2b motherboard that would generate a kind of a conflict ?

4/ other reasons ?


I mention that i changed the pci slot where the miro is plugged, but this causes nothing to change in my problem.
